Mary Eleanor Hester

Mary Eleanor Hester, 76, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Mrs. Hester was born a daughter of the late John Hughes and Nina Ree Bellamy.She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired telephone switchboard operator. She is survived by her daughter, Allison White of Florence; grandson, Tyler B. Campbell of Florence; and great-granddaughter, Baylee Rose Campbell and her mother, Staci Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Hester; and sisters, Judy A. Babson and Jo Frances Bellamy. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 2400 Third Loop Road, Florence, SC29501.
