MARY DELL POSTON BECK Lake City, SC Charity Mary Dell Poston Beck, 84, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Laurel Gardens Assisted Living surrounded by her family. Mrs. Beck was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Willie Tillman Poston and Celia McAllister Poston.She was a school teacher in both Williamsburg and Florence Counties.She was the owner and operator of Dellie’s Designs of Lake City, a drapery business. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda L. Rodgers, who passed away in 1989; sister, Iva Lee Poston and an infant brother. Surviving are her devoted husband of 46 years, Charles W. Beck, Sr. of Florence; son, Charles W. Beck, Jr. and his wife Carrie Alexander Beck of Florence; grandchildren, Michelle Phelps Hollis, Janey Phelps, Erin Rodgers Elmore, Mary Rodgers McClam, Henry C. Bryan, III, Lauren Bryan and the eagerly anticipated Emma Jade Beck; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Deacon, Audrey, Sawyer, Autumn and Bella. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Prosser Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
