Mary Browder Barr

MARY BROWDER BARR FLORENCE, SC Mary Browder Barr, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her residence after an illness. She was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late William Browder and Ozela Barrineau Browder.She was a member of Truth Chapel , an avid gardener and a member of the Genealogy Society.She ran Rosewood Florist for many years and loved her children dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Anderson; brothers, Walter and Earl Browder and sister, Jenelle B. Dority. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Cooper Barr of Florence; sons, Lance Barr and Craig Barr, both of Florence; daughter, Holly Anderson Gandy of Florence; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, August 27, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
