Mary “Mag” Price Bailey Effingham, SC Mary “Mag” Price Bailey, 89, died early Monday morning, May 27, 2013 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, May 30, 2013 at South Florence Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mary was born in Kinston, NC a daughter of the late Willie and Eliza Wiggs Price. She has been a faithful member of South Florence Baptist Church for the past 35 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman Bailey, Jr, who died January 14, 2009; 2 infant children, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are her three children, Linda Sauls of Effingham, Bill (Carolyn) Bailey of Florence and Phyllis (Milton) Taylor of Pine Level, NC; five grandchildren, Todd (Andi) Sauls, Chad Sauls both of Effingham, Melissa Chavis of Manning, Gail Parrish and Robbie (Amy) Taylor both of Pine Level, NC; 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson; two sisters, Barbara Fordham and Glenda May Price both of Kinston, NC. Memorials may be made to South Florence Baptist Church, 2720 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC29505. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
