Mary Alice Richardson Colburn

Mary Alice Richardson Colburn, 87, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Mrs. Colburn was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Raymond G. Richardson and Colzie Mathis Richardson.She graduated from Florence County Schools and from Flora McDonald College in Laurinburg, NC.Mrs. Colburn worked as an administrative assistant with Met Life for a number of years. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Gerry Reynolds Colburn; daughter, Bonnie Colburn (Edward) Morse of Alpharetta, GA; son, David R. (Cori) Colburn of Florence; and grandchildren, Rebecca Playfair, Benjamin Playfair, Matthew Colburn, Christopher Colburn and Mary Grace Colburn. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colburn was preceded in death by her two brothers, Raymond Richardson and Aubrey Richardson. Private graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
