Marvin "Ed" Holloman

Marvin “Ed” Holloman was born on 11/27/1931 and passed away on 9/29/2018.He grew up in Florence, South Carolina and entered the U.S. Air Force in 1951. He retired from Overnight Transportation after 34 years of service.He recently drove for Atkinson Brothers and loved to travel.Mr. Holloman formerly was part owner of Huddle House in Hartsville, Darlington, Sumter and Florence.He also formerly owned Holloman Enterprise Parking Lot Maintenance. Mr. Holloman will be remembered as being kind, generous, and loving.He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Holloman; daughters, Tammy Weatherford, Amber Ellis and Leslie Summerford; sons, Kevin Holloman, Mike Holloman, Trevor Baxter and Chad Barefoot; loving grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Holloman. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wives, Brenda Holloman and Louise Holloman; daughter, Janet Best; son, Lynn Holloman; and his siblings. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
