Martha Frances Bell Rimer

MARTHA FRANCES BELL RIMER FLORENCE, S.C. MARTHA FRANCES BELL RIMER, 89, of Florence, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mrs. Rimer was born in Stanley County, N.C., a daughter of the late Price and Nellie Ross Bell. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she had been a member of the Choir and had taught Sunday School. Surviving are her husband of 72 years, Willie James "Bill" Rimer of Florence; daughters, Judy Sharon (Charles) Waddell of Winston-Salem, N.C., Linda (Don) Adams of Charlotte, N.C., Brenda (Daniel) Thompson of Effingham and Sybil Riddle of Asheville, N.C.;7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Price Bell and 2 sisters, Margaret Smith Greeley and Mary Elizabeth Bell Townsend. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church, with entombment following at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
