Martha E. Drew

Martha E. Drew, 75, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Martha was born a daughter of the late Nell Hinds Merritt and Johnny Thomas Merritt. She was a records supervisor with the State of South Carolina and worked with Special Needs Pee Dee Regional Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dr. Mark A. Drew. Martha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rudolph Drew; sisters, Lois Wampler (Clay) of Charleston, SC and Irene Hucks of Santee, SC; and several beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Martha was known for her great style and her well-kept appearance. She loved her family members and enjoyed spending time with them.Martha also enjoyed visiting new places and traveling. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Home. Family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
