Marta Miles Haney

Marta Miles Haney, 68, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Mrs. Haney was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Arthur Eugene Miles and Betty Pearl Anderson Miles.She graduated from McClenaghan High School in 1968 and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1970.She returned to Florence in 1984 and was employed with Bridges, Orr and Ervin law firm for many years, was a member of College Park Baptist Church, a member of the Red Hat Club and a big supporter of St. Jude’s Hospital.She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Bubba Haney of Florence; sons, Bryan (Tamy) Haney and Kyle (Kim) Haney, both of Florence; grandchildren, Karmin Haney, C.J. Haney and Melinda Haney, all of Florence; great-grandchildren, Rylee Haney, Connor Biddix and Chloe Biddix, all of Florence; brothers, Jimmie Deans of Warrenville, SC and Douglas Pender of Colorado Springs, CO and two sisters, Beth (Mike) Higdon of Florence and Chris Castello of Cayce, SC. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, www.stjude.org. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Community Free Will Baptist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM.
