MARSHA ELIZABETH HANNA BEHLING FLORENCE, SC Marci Behling, 43, of Florence, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 15, 2014. Mrs. Behling was born in Florence, SC, daughter of Yvonne “Von” Hanna and Wayne Hanna.She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing and playing the keyboard. She loved music. Marci Behling was loved and cherished by all who were blessed to know her. God created her with a kind and generous heart, an infectious smile and laugh, and a gracious and merciful spirit. She was a beautiful and loving wife and mother, who poured herself into the loves of her life--Ed, Jonathan, Christopher, and Matthew. She was a sincere and loyal friend, who selflessly gave to encourage those who were struggling on their journey. And, she was a faithful and passionate worshipper, who used her gifts in music to exalt Christ and build up His Kingdom at Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was all of these things, however, because she was first a fully committed follower of Jesus, who lived her life to bring glory to God. Surviving are her husband, Dr. Ed Behling; her sons, Jonathan, Christopher and Matthew Behling; her parents, Yvonne “Von “ Hanna and Wayne Hanna; her grandmother,Elizabeth Cagle; and her brothers, Wesley(Tamara) Hanna and Mark Hanna, both of Hattiesburg, MS.She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Colon Cagle; her paternal grandparents, Ida Genelle and Murdock Hanna, and her father, M. Ron Hanna. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
