Marjorie Turner Breeden

MARJORIE TURNER BREEDEN FLORENCE, S.C. MARJORIE TURNER BREEDEN, 92, of Florence, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Breeden was born in Dante, VA, a daughter of the late Samuel Jackson and Lola Culbertson Turner. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of Saint Luke Lutheran Church. Surviving are her son, Steven (Phyllis) Breeden of Florence, her daughter, Marjorie Anne (James) Breeden Hart of Florence, six grandchildren; James Hart, III and Rebecca (Harrell) Docherty, both of Florence , Linda (Joel)Temples of Columbia, Jennifer (Chris) Davis of Corvalis, Adam (Sarah) Breeden of Pensacola, FL and Amy Stoddard of Summerville; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Breeden, Jr., a son, James Arthur Breeden, III, and a sister, Thelma Godsey. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1201 Cherokee Road, Florence, SC 29501. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M.
