Marjorie Miller Hill

Marjorie Miller Hill, 88, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Mrs. Hill was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Maxie McDonald Miller and Janie Mae Moore Miller. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and had been active in bowling leagues, boating, and other activities with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Michael Hill. Surviving are her husband, Dudley William Hill, Jr. of Florence; daughter, Sharon Hill (Jimmy) Barnes; grandchildren, Heather McWhorter, Jennifer Tedder, and Bradley Hill; great-grandchildren, Bryson Graves, Summer Graves, Kolton Graves, Walker McWhorter, Maddox Lynch, McKinsley Lynch, and Landon Hill. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, www.alzfdn.org. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
