Marilyn Bracey Barbot

Marilyn Bracey Barbot, 92, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015. Mrs. Barbot was born in McDonald, NC, a daughter of the late Aubra Carl Bracey and Harriet Mae Leggett Bracey.She retired from Equity National where she sold health insurance.She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Carll; her grandchild, Dale Wells and her brothers, AubraCarl “AC” Bracey, Jr. and Robert Henry Bracey. Surviving are her husband, Decimus Barbot of Florence; her son, Larry Pate of Chapin, SC; her daughter, Charimon (Joe) Bauknight of Ballentine, SC; her grandchildren, LaDonna Pate, Shannon (Adam) Barrett, Brian Wells, William Pate, MatthewPate, Cassie Pate; her great-grandchildren McKenna Wells, Evan Wells and Owen Wells; and her sisters, Elizabeth Britt of Nichols, SC, Nell Lamb of Fairmont, NC, Eleanor (Edwin) Grainger of Columbia, SC, and Ann (Alan) Fowler of Proctorville, NC. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
