MARIE SPIVEY HUGGINS FLORENCE, SC Marie Spivey Huggins, 81, of Florence, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Huggins was born in Tabor City, NC a daughter of the late Caleb Dal Spivey and Grace Munn Spivey.She retired after 30 years with Belk Department Store. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Pat Lee, Alma Spivey Shaw, Juanita Fipps, C.D. “Charlie” Spivey, Jr., Mary Buffkin and Mattie Lee Spivey Kennedy. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Wiley Huggins, Jr. of Florence; sister, Shelby Kennedy of Florence; brother, Rufus “Buck” Spivey of Florence; special sister-in-law, Sara Grace LeGette of Florence and a number of nieces and nephews, including Sara Elizabeth West. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery.
