Marie "Helen" Tunstall Pridgen

Marie “Helen” Tunstall Pridgen, 71, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Ms. Pridgen was born in Lodge, SC, a daughter of the late Charlie Irby Tunstall and Lisha Springs Carraway Tunstall.She was a supervisor at La-Z-Boy and a member of Greater Vision Tabernacle Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Pridgen; daughter, Tammy Elaine Pridgen; brothers, Charlie Irby “Spud” “Chuck” Tunstall and Richard L. Tunstall; and sisters, Addie M. Lynch and Hazel C. Coleman. Surviving are her brother, Charles Edward (Elma)Tunstall; three nephews, Charles Wayne (Teresa) McGee of Hartsville, Ralph (Tammy) McGee and Johnny Ray (Tammy) McGee, both of Florence, and special friends, Linda and Mike Watson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.A private burial will be held immediately following service.
