Margueritte Farmer Parker

Margueritte Farmer Parker, 97, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Mrs. Parker was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, a daughter of the late William Farmer and Janie Farmer.She retired from Taylor Made Sandwich Company and was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles “Bob” Parker and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie (Ronnie) Morris of Timmonsville, Brenda (Gene) Poston of Florence and Beverly (Troy Anthony) Severance; and her grandchildren, Ron (Jennifer) Morris of Columbia, Buster (Jessica) Morris of Lamar, Tim Morris of Timmonsville, Jeana (Davy) Foust of Darlington, Stacey (Lia) Severance of Charlotte, NC and Steven Severance of Summerville, SC. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church.Burial will follow in Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Beverly and Troy Anthony Severance at 1210 Alligator Road, Effingham, SC.
