Margaret Marie Johansen

Margaret Marie Johansen, 95, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Mrs. Johansen was born in Wishek, ND a daughter of the late James Welsh and Elizabeth Pfeifle Welsh.She was a cosmetologist and a member of the University Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA.She was a proud patriot and respected and honored all of our military service men and women. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Arthur H. Schmitt, Jr. and her second husband, Harold Johansen; brother, Forrest Welsh; sister, Eunice Dooley, and by a niece, Lynn A. Graham. Surviving are her sons, James (Naomi) Schmitt and David (Sandra) Schmitt; daughter, Gayle MacBride; grandchildren, Sheryl Roberts, Steven Neider, Sandra Neidetcher, Scott Neider, and Sarah Schmitt; great-grandchildren, Kenny Zethner and Dustin Zethner; two nephews, Robert and David Dooley. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM.
