Margaret Hickman Buffkin

Margaret Hickman Buffkin, 85, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Margaret was born in Bladen County, NC a daughter of the late Coy Hickman and Ada Brisson Hickman. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mrs. Buffkin was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, E. O’Brian Buffkin; two brothers; one sister; and two grandchildren, Ryan Drake Buffkin, survived by his wife, Kathryn and daughter, Olivia; and Michael Gary Buffkin, Jr. survived by his daughter, Mikaela. Survivors include her three sons, Gregory (Cathy) Buffkin, Mike Buffkin both of Florence, SC and Darryl (Tammy) Buffkin of Pawleys Island, SC; former daughter-in-law, Regina Buffkin of Florence, SC; three grandchildren, Whitney Buffkin (Brad) Turner, Jennifer Buffkin (Joe) Catalano and Hogan Benton (Katie) Buffkin; and six great-grandchildren, William Elijah Turner, Olivia Harper Buffkin, Mikaela Grace Buffkin, Layla Grace Catalano, Noah Sterling Catalano and Addyson Maye Buffkin; and her beloved grand dogs, Yukon and Bella. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 16, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
