MARGARET BENTON BELL Florence, SC Margaret Benton Bell, 94, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Bell was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Carl Allard Benton and Annie Belle Turner Benton.She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Edward Bell; brothers, Carlton Benton, Sr. and William Benton, Sr.; sisters, Betty Young, Sybil Saverance, Patricia Hicks and Hallie McCutcheon. Surviving are her daughter, Mary “Libby” Bell (Jimmy) Jordan of Effingham, SC; sister, Helen Crawford of Florence; grandchildren, Jay (Stacy) Jordan and Misty (Jason) Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Hunter Jordan, McKenzie Jordan, Carter Weatherford, Jordan Weatherford, Dylan Osborne, Gavin Osborne and Rion Osborne; great-great-grandchild, Brinleigh Osborne and special niece, Cherri Richter Barrineau. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 6316 Pamplico Highway, Effingham, SC29541 or Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 2 – 3 PM before the service.Burial will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
