MALISSA HILL STREETT FLORENCE, S.C. MALISSA HILL STREETT, 81, of Florence, died Friday, December 23, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Streett was born in Timmonsville, a daughter of the late Jesse Raymond and Ola Atkinson Hill.After graduating from Timmonsville High School, she attended Winthrop College. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and WOW Walnut Lodge #52. She was the former Owner and Operator of Streett's Grocery. Surviving are her Son and Daughter in Law, Mitch and Cathy Streett of Florence; Daughter and Son in Law, Debi and George "Butch" Branstiter of Lexington, SC; 2 Grandchildren, Wyatt Streett of Florence and Wesley Branstiter of Charleston; 2 Brothers, James Hill of Florence and Ray Hill of Charleston; and a Sister in Law, Tennie Hill Carraway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George DeForest Streett, 3 brothers, Alfred Hill, Randolph Hill and Billy Hill, and by 3 sisters, Bertie Hill Hill, Sue Hill Evans and Jennie Hill Evans. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 26, 2011 in Friendship United Methodist Church, with burial following in the Church Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 P.M. Monday at the church Mrs. Streett will always be remembered for her pride and hard work in maintaining one of Mars Bluff's most beautiful yards.
