Luther Lee “Buddy” Register Florence, SC Luther Lee “Buddy” Register, 67, of Florence, passed away Friday, May 08, 2015 at his residence after an illness. Buddy was born in Brunswick, NC, a son of the late Lee and Lena Register.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Johnson Register and a grandson, Noah Jackson. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Faye Register Stone of Florence; 2 grandchildren, Crystal Gainey and John Gainey, III, both of Florence; 3 great-grandchildren, L.J. Jackson, J.J. Gainey and Caylee Jackson, and one sister, Glenda Turner of Pamplico. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Thompson Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
