Luciano Sierra Ordinola, 49, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. Luciano was born in Mexico, a son of the late Juan Sierra and Maria Alejindrina Ordinola. He was a Landscaper. He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Rico Cruz; his daughters, Maria Guadalupe Sierra Rico and Maria Alejandra Sierra Rico; grandchildren, Christopher Juarez Sierra, Brian Juarez Sierra, Luciano Medina Sierra, Elodie Medina Sierra and Alaia Medina Sierra; sisters, Juana Sierra and Blanca Sierra; and brothers, Jose Sierra, Eusebia Sierra, Alejandro Sierra and Martin Sierra. Luciano was a happy, positive, enthusiastic and hard-working man. Although he suffered through dialysis, he never gave up, never let his spirits fall down. He always found a reason to joke about. He was a loving and caring father and husband. He loved his grandchildren and truly cared for them. His garden and yard work were his passion. He liked beauty and enjoyed it. Luciano loved to do things well done until the end. “Be perfect like your Father in Heaven is perfect.” A man like Luciano must have made God smile often, and reach out to him with open arms to receive him in his eternal home in Heaven. We will always miss you dear husband, dad and grandpa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. There will be a Christian Vigil service at the Funeral Home at 6:00 PM Friday, with the family receiving friends until 8:00 PM afterwards.
