Louise Bailey Allen

LOUISE B. ALLEN EFFINGHAM, SC LOUISE B. ALLEN, 83, of Effingham, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 in McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mrs. Allen was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Charlie and Sally Mae Hudson Bailey.She was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church, and was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was much loved by her family and friends. She was a very special lady who dedicated her life to her Lord, her family, and her special friends. Mrs. Allen is survived by her sons, Dwight (Jean) Allen, Ray Allen and Jerry (Leanne) Allen, all of Florence; a sister, Birdie Broach of Colorado, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Allen, and a brother, Charlie Bailey, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, with burial following in Lebanon Cemetery in Effingham. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lebanon Cemetery Fund, C/O A.C.
