Louis Thomas Williams

Cpl. Louis Thomas Williams, USMC (Retired), 34, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Tom was born in Cincinnati, OH a son of Louis Frank Williams and Nancy Lucas.He was an owner at NewSpring Church where he was a volunteer with campus safety.He participated on the Semper Fi team and with the Wounded Warrior Project.He was a decorated US Marine Corps veteran having served 2 tours in Iraq ending his career in Meteorology. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carolyn Lucas and Harold and Doris Williams. Surviving are his wife, Tracey Hughes Williams; mother; father and step-mother, Deborah “Debbie” Williams; grandfather, Thomas (Mary) Lucas; sisters, Ann Marie Hill and Jo (Mike) Haines; step-brother, Erik (Darci) Woodiwiss; step-sister, Heather (Dave) Goldstien; mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Kathy Hughes; sister-in-law, Kassie Hughes; nieces and nephews, Josh, Drew, Molly, Brody, Alex and Joey; aunt, Carolyn Lucas; his fur babies, Paisly, Lola, Gabbie and Wilbur and family friend, Bev Stover. Memorials may be made to the Semper Fi Fund, 825 College Blvd., Suite 102, PMB 609, Oceanside, CA92057. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at NewSpring Church with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.A private burial will take place in the Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
