LOUIS EUGENE FORD Florence, SC Louis Eugene Ford, 67, of Florence, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at his residence after an illness. Mr. Ford was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Cortez Simpson Ford and Estaline Cooke Ford Tyner.He was a driver for American Bakeries for over 30 years.He was a talented, self-taught guitar player, enjoyed wood-working and loved cooking for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Rita Ford Lynch. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Lynn Evans Ford of Florence; daughter, Pamela Ford (Chad) Parker of Florence; step-son, Thomas Weatherford, III of Darlington; step-daughter, Jessica (Dustin) Carnell of Darlington; grandchildren, Brandon Lynch, Madison Parker, McKinley Weatherford, Tatum Flowers, Brittany Carnell, Tiffany Carnell and Michael Weatherford; great-grandchildren, T.J. Lynch and Lathan Lynch. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church prior to the service.
