Lorraine "Tinky" Fleming Rusher

LORRAINE “TINKY” FLEMING RUSHER FLORENCE, SC Lorraine “Tinky” Fleming Rusher, 66, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at a local hospital. Ms. Rusher was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late George Alexander Fleming and Ann Johnson Fleming.She graduated from Pembroke College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.Ms. Rusher taught second grade in the Rowan-Salisbury, North Carolina Public School System, for twenty-nine years.She was affiliated with St. Luke Lutheran Church in Florence.She loved her faithful canine companions dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Lemoine F. Dearheart. Surviving is her sister, Lynette F. Ball of Virginia. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
