Lorene Seigler Padgett

Lorene Seigler Padgett, 86, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 Mrs. Padgett was born in Aiken, SC, a daughter of the late Bessie Edna Toole Seigler and Chester Marion Seigler.She retired in 1985 as an administrator with the Florence Country Club after nine years of employment.Mrs. Padgett was a long-time member of Florence Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Adrian Lewis Padgett; a son, Vaughn Padgett; granddaughter, Jessica Amber Johnson; grandson, Justin Deon Hanna; and brothers, Marion Seigler and Gene Seigler. Mrs. Padgett is survived by her son, Jerry D. Padgett (Lizette) of Lynchburg, VA; daughters, Vicki Corder and Sharon Rohme (Rick), both of Florence; daughter-in-law, Melanie Padgett of Florence; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Roland Seigler. Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private funeral service will be held at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Entombment will follow the service.
