Lois Leigh O'Neal Yopp

Lois Leigh O’Neal Yopp, 85, of Florence, SC passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Mrs. Yopp was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Benjamin Streett and Bessie Harrell Streett. She was a veteran of the US Air Force and a longtime member of Unity Baptist Church. She retired from McLeod Regional Medical Center after 30+ years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James D. O’Neal and second husband, Jimmy Yopp; brother, W.B. Streett; sisters, Frances Broome and Martha Lewis. Surviving are her son, Kevin (Stacey) O’Neal; daughter, Karla (Robert) Cauthen; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
