Lizzie Rouse Peace

Lizzie Rouse Peace, 80, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Mrs. Peace was born in Dillon City, SC a daughter of the late Lafon Rouse and Lillie Mae Caulder Rouse.She was a cafeteria manager for Royall Elementary School.She loved her family and loved to cook for them. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Denise Benton and brothers, James Rouse, Bennie Rouse and Johnny Rouse. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, William O. Peace of Florence; daughters, Teresa (Victor) Young and Janet (Donnie) Wiggins; grandchildren, Jennifer Coates, Christie (Trevor) Hicks, Brandon (Heather) Wiggins, Ashley Young, Tayler Young and Denise Wiggins; 5 great-grandchildren and a sister, Sarah Rowell. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Monday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Peace Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon.
