Linnie Hanna Belflower, 88, died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 8:50 p.m.She was the wife of the late Vergol Randolph Belflower. Mrs. Belflower was born November 16, 1926 in Vox, a daughter of the late Nick Bernard Hanna and Bertha Keefe Lyerly. Mrs. Belflower was a homemaker.She had retired from A. B. Dick Company in Lake City and was a State Certified Nurse Assistant for 16 years.She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Senior Adult Sunday School Class, and the Jolly Club.She was also a volunteer for many years with Vacation Bible School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers, W. A. Lyerly Hanna and Henry L. Hanna. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Pigate of Pamplico; sons, Samuel Belflower, George Belflower, Andy Belflower, all of Pamplico and Randal (Gail) Belflower of Evergreen; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Alan (Burnadean) Hanna of Hemmingway. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
