Linda Jones Strickland

Linda Jones Strickland, 68, of Scranton, SC, passed away on July 2, 2015. Mrs. Strickland was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Rautha Franklin Jones and Lula Bailey Jones.She was the caregiver for her own mother for many years.Mrs. Strickland was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother “Nana” who will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McKever “Mack” Strickland. Surviving are her daughter, Amelinda (Tim) Matthews of Scranton; a grandson, Thomas McKever Matthews, and her brother, Frank (Teresa) Jones of Florence. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kingsburg, SC, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
