Linda Hill Marshall

Linda Hill Marshall, 86, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

She was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late John Edward Hill and Margaret Barrett Hill Windham. She worked for Mcleod Hospital as a Nursing Analyst, where she devoted 30 years of hard and rewarding work. Mrs. Marshall was a loving woman and a good friend to all. She was a talented cook and a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, John Eric Marshall, and daughter, Susan Elaine Marshall.

Surviving is her husband, John Robert Marshall; son, Joel Robert (Mel) Marshall; daughter, Sherry Marshall (John) Garrett; grandchildren, Hugh (Rachel) Garrett, Holly (Randolph) Miller, Tyler (Brittany) Marshall and Preston Marshall; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Dora Ellen Smith; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Agape Hospice for their exceptional care they provided.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Florence Memorial Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
