Lieze Connor Mcdaniel

Lieze Connor McDaniel, 94, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021. Mrs. McDaniel was born June 30, 1927, in Eutawville, SC, a daughter of the late Fred Connor, Sr. and the late Rose Taylor Connor.She graduated from Columbia College and taught first grade at Henry Timrod Elementary School for twenty years.Mrs. McDaniel was an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday School Teacher and working in the Children’s Church for more than twenty years. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Victor G. McDaniel; grandchild, Chris Noble; sister, Rose Connor Blackstone, and brothers, Lawton Rutledge Connor and Fred Connor, Jr. Surviving are her sons, William A. “Bill” McDaniel (Kelly) and Fred “Connor” McDaniel (Beth); grandchildren, William, Emma, Mike Noble (Casey) and Charity Noble; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021, at St. Paul United Methodist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
