Levell Nettles Godbold

Levell Nettles Godbold, 71, of Florence, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014, at a local hospital. Mrs. Godbold was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Elijah Edward Nettles and Dorothy L. Poston Nettles.She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.Mrs. Godbold worked for nineteen years with General Electric and spent the remainder of her years as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of fifty-five years, EarlJoseph Godbold, Jr.; her daughter, Sherry G. Wilkes; her son, Joey Godbold; three grandchildren, Brandi, Brooke and Brigette; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Linda Christmas Graham. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Rehoboth Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Godbold Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
