Leslie Alison Pate "Wood"

Leslie Alison Pate “Wood”, 62, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

She was born in Selma, AL, the daughter of Glenda Maxine Creel Pate and the late Allen Carpenter Pate. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing.

She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Carpenter Pate; and maternal grandmother, Alberta Poston Ridgell.

Surviving are her mother, Glenda Maxine Creel Pate; daughter, Jamie (Matthew) Werling; and grandson, Jackson Lee Werling.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
