LESLIE F. "LES" BICKETT CONWAY, SC LESLIE F. "LES" BICKETT, died Monday, December 20, 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer.He was born in Meade County, Kentucky on June 29, 1935, a son of the late Joseph Henry and Mary Evelena Bickett. Les moved to Florence, SC in 1959, where he owned and operated Bickett Distributing Company with his brother Joe for over thirty years.He moved to Conway, SC in 1996 where he owned and operated the Captain's Table Restaurant with his son for twelve years. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic church in Florence, SC, the Catholic Church of St. James in Conway, SC and the Knights of Columbus.He was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Les was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mildred Bickett and by a brother, Joe Bickett. Surviving are his wife Pat; son, Brent Bickett of Conway, SC; daughter, Dana (Nick) Partin of Lake Wylie, SC; granddaughters, Rylie Bickett of Conway, Ella Gray Partin and Sullivan Partin, both of Lake Wylie, SC; sisters, Elizabeth (Orville) Scheuerell of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and Barbara (Tim) Conliffe of Louisville, Kentucky; brothers, Ed Bickett of Flaherty, Kentucky and Marion (JoAnn) Bickett of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Marty Bickett of Florence, SC and many beloved nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence, SC on Tuesday, December 28th from 6 – 8 PM.A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 29th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence, SC, the Catholic Church of St. James in Conway, SC or to the American Cancer Society
