Leonard Carley "Carl" Nealey

Leonard Carley “Carl” Nealey, 50, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Mr. Nealey was born in Florence, SC, a son of Linda Matherly and Edward Nealey.He was employed by Roche Carolina as a maintenance technician and loved drag racing and fishing. Surviving are his fiancé, Teresa Miles; mother and step-father, Linda (Dennis) Matherly, and father and step-mother, Edward (Libby) Nealey, all of Florence; his children, Michael Nealey, Brian (Candice) Nealey and Lauren Nealey, all of Darlington; four grandchildren, Trevor, Tanner, Dean, and Kaylie Ann; siblings, Eddie (Melanie) Nealey, Jr. of Timmonsville, Faye (Bill) Llewellyn of Darlington, Taylor Nealey of Columbia and Christian (Bubba) Nealey of Florence; and two nieces, Heather and Brianna Nealey. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Leonard and Mary Alice Locklair and Carley Nealey and Alice (Legrand) Collins and a brother, Rickey Lee Nealey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
