LEONA “TONI” BRIGHT GAERTNER FLORENCE, SC Leona “Toni” Bright Gaertner, 85, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Gaertner was born December 6, 1929, in Wampee, SC., the daughter of the late Joseph Bright and Laura Skipper Bright.She was a member of Willow Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters; Gerri Gaertner and Kimberly G. (Will) Hobbs, both of Florence, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Walter Gaertner. Mrs. Gaertner was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Stoudenmire –Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Willow Creek Baptist Church, Florence, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00- 2:00 PM on Friday. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. James Smith, his nurse Linda and the McLeod Hospice House.
