Legrand David "Crockett" Soles Florence, S.C. Legrand David "Crockett" Soles, 57, of Florence passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his residence after an illness. David was born in Florence, a son of the late Sammie and Pauline Treadway Soles, Sr. He had been employed with Galey & Lord in Society Hill and with Dixie Cup in Darlington. He is survived by his siblings, Alice Carolyn Soles of Florence, Jean Soles (Horace) Cordray of Ravenel, SC, Linda Matthews of Charleston, Elizabeth S.(her estranged husband, Terry Lynn) Rogers of Florence, Sammie (Lucy) Soles, Jr. of Lake City, Paul T. (Cindy) Soles of Florence, a number of nieces and nephews, and special friends, Joe (Frances) Gregg of Florence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Earline Walters and a brother, Donnie Laverne Soles. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 7, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M.
