Lavonda Orr Osterhout

Florence, SC LaVonda “Bonnie” Orr Osterhout, 89, widow of Ivan C. Osterhout, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at home. She was born August 12, 1926 in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of the late John and Alice Mae Sharkey Orr. She was an LPN at Bruce Hospital for many years, where she helped organize the Outpatient Surgical Department. She was a member and prayer warrior at Faith Presbyterian Church and was a wonderful cook. Survivors include her son, Richard (Cindy) Osterhout of Toledo, OH; her daughter, Bonnie Lee Osterhout (Rufus) Brown of Florence; a brother, Donald Orr of OH; a sister, Elizabeth Bowers of OH; grandchildren, Todd Nicholas (Julie) Osterhout, Benjamin Lee (Jennifer) Osterhout, and Joshua Reid (Maria) Osterhout, Kara Beth Osterhout and Yuri Osterhout; a great-grandchild, Kyle Osterhout; and a niece, Susan O. Haas of Stone Creek, OH. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence.
