Laura Ann Driver Dripps

LAURA ANN DRIVER DRIPPS QUINBY, SC LAURA ANN DRIVER DRIPPS, 82, of Quinby, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Mrs. Dripps was born in Maryville, TN a daughter of the late Gail Odell Driver and Cora Pressley Peace Driver.She had worked at H & R Block and retired from the Florence County Tax Assessors Office.She was a member of the Community Bible Fellowship Church, a member of Oakdale Country Club and was an avid golfer and bowler. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Deborah Creel and a son-in-law, Roy Arrants. Surviving are her devoted and loving husband of 66 years in November, Kenneth Harvey Dripps, Sr. of Quinby; sons, Kenneth Harvey (Brenda) Dripps, Jr. of Monroe, NC and David Dripps of Quinby; daughters, Laura (Bubba) Blackmon of Florence and Judith Dripps and Mary Arrants, both of Cumming, GA; brother, John Driver of AZ; sisters, Buna Hofferbert and Mary Gail Jackson, both of Knoxville, TN and Catherine Thompson of CA; 24 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Kevin Creel of Lake City. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK73123-1718. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery.
