Larry Wayne Corey

Larry Wayne Corey, 72, of Florence, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017. Mr. Corey was born in Hampton, Iowa, a son of the late Shirley Stephenson Corey and Frank Corey.He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Purple Heart recipient and a former treasurer of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.Mr. Corey was a sales/estimator for Florence Concrete Products. Surviving are his wife, Leslie Helene Thomas Corey; son, Lynn Alan Corey (Laura Boskelly) of Chicago, IL; daughter, Lee Renee Corey of Montgomery, AL; brother, James Corey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and sister, Betty Jo Corey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
