Lance Jarrod Martin

Lance Jarrod Martin, 45, of Effingham, SC, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Lance was born in Marion, South Carolina, to Vicki Atkinson Martin and Harold Gene Martin. A passionate hunter, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast, he found joy in nature and the simple pleasures of life.

Known for his outgoing personality, Lance never met a stranger, he had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued. He deeply loved his family and friends, always ready to lend a hand or give the shirt off his back.

He was a proud member of the Amity Masonic Lodge, where he embraced the values of brotherhood, service, and community. His generous spirit, kind heart, and dedication to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters, Kylie (Lane) Harris, Kamryn Martin, and Kassidy Martin; sister, Lindsay Martin King; niece and nephew, Lily Katherine and Layton King; and the mother of his children, Jennifer Martin.

A graveside service will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
