Kenneth Ivan Whittington Effingham, SC Kenneth Ivan Whittington, 50, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 in Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A Private Graveside service will be held later at Greenhaven Preserve in Eastover, SC. Kenneth was born in Prince William County, VA, a son of Earl and Eatoie Adams Whittington of Evergreen. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 26 years, Debbie Grove Whittington of Effingham; 3 children, Amanda (Chris) Allen of Leemore, CA, Jordan (Loren) Smith and their son, Ivan of Effingham, Watson Owen Whittington of Effingham; brothers, Charles (Ann) Whittington of Sumter and Michael (Kelley) Whittington of CA; father-in-law, Clifford Grove of Florence; faithful canine companion, Schatzie. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am Monday at the Funeral Home.
