Kenneth O. "Ken" McCracken Timmonsville, SC Kenneth O. "Ken" McCracken, 60, of Timmonsville, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his residence. Mr. McCracken was born in Conway, SC, the son of the late Odell Wilford "Mac" and Mary Thelma Faircloth McCracken.He was a graduate of Southside High School and Florence-Darlington Tech.He retired from the Darlington office of the SCDOT as a Resident Construction Engineer. He was a member of Wildlife Action Inc., the Son's of the Confederacy, the Son's of the American Revolution, The Founding Families of South Carolina, and the SC Historical Society.He also was an avid genealogist and loved the Carolina Gamecocks. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Deborah Knight McCracken and two sons, Corp. Robert Brent McCracken, USMC, Hawaii and William Bradley McCracken of Florence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Monday, September 3, 2012 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
