Kenneth "Ken" Manning Poston

Kenneth “Ken” Manning Poston, 81, of Moore, SC passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. Mr. Poston was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Marvin Manning Poston and Estelle Poston Poston.He was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg Church and was an insurance agent with United Life Insurance Company of America for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa “Terry” Poston and by two brothers, Linwood Poston and Wayne Poston. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Christine Richardson Poston of Moore, SC; daughters, Karen P. (David) Stark of Chapel Hill, NC and Vicki Poston of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Emily Stoler, Matthew Stark, and Daniel Stark; six great-granddaughters and two sisters, Wilma Jackson of Coward, SC and Jeanette Gainey of Hartsville, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
