Kenneth C Poston, Sr.

KENNETH C. POSTON, SR. EFFINGHAM, S.C. KENNETH C. POSTON, SR. 71, of Effingham, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Poston was born in Florence County, a son of the late James E. and Eulila Lee Poston. He had retired from Socar Steel as an inspector after 38 years of service. He was a member of Unity Christian Fellowship. He is survived by his wife to whom he would have been married for 49 years on November 16, Alice M. Poston of Effingham; his sons, Kenneth C. (Eveline) Poston, Jr. of Effingham, Ronnie W. (Donna) Poston of Florence and Donnie M. (Ann) Poston of Sumter; his sister, Dianne Sawyer of Marion, and 4 grandchildren, Kenneth C. "Lil Ken" Poston, III, Madison Poston, Maria Poston and Ashley Nichole Poston. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in the chapel at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Entombment will follow, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
