Kenneth "Bruce" L. Teague

Kenneth L. “Bruce” Teague Columbia, SC Bruce Teague, 74, of Columbia, SC, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 09, 2015. Bruce was born in Union, SC, a son of the late Elmer Glenn and Faye Reeves Teague. He had retired from AT&T after over 30 years of service. He loved his family, with a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers, Carroll, John P. and Stanley B. Teague. He is survived by his wife, Betty Tolson Teague of Columbia, SC; daughters, Tessa T. (Ed) Moore of Greenwood, SC, Sharon T. Ekern of Oviedo, FL and Amy T. (Richard) Hayes of Keller, TX; his grandchildren; Ted Moore, Connor M. Forrester, Brandon Wieser, Austin and Cannon Ekern, Mason, Carson, and Preston Hayes; his brothers,Braxton E. (Peggy) Teague of Ormond Beach, FL, Eric (Debbie) Teague of Columbia, SC and Phillip (Violet) Hendrix of Soddy Daisy, TN. He is also survived by several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florence, SC with burial following in the church cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends afterwards in the fellowship hall at the church.
