Kenneth Drew Allen

Kenneth Drew Allen, 81, of Florence, was called to his heavenly home May 6, 2026.

Kenny was born on November 24, 1944, a son of the late Sylvia Heath and William K. Allen. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Coker Allen. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love and friendship will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kenny will be remembered as a talented baseball player in his youth, an avid golfer throughout most of his adult life, and as someone blessed with the gift of gab who rarely met a stranger. The love he had for his family and friends made a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Rabon (Chase); his grandchildren, Cole Vaught (Skyler) and Caleb Rabon, as well as one bonus grandson, Jax Brown, who brought great pride and joy to his life; his brother, Dr. William Terry Allen; his sisters, Kitty Dunn and Tammy Allen Church; his sister-in-love, June Naus; and many extended family members and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
