Kendall Lavon Barfield

Kendall “Ken” Lavon Barfield, 53, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Mr. Barfield was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Kern Larson Barfield and Bobbie Lou Jean Matthews.He loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends.He was an avid hunter, dedicated Tar Heel, Nascar, and Dolphin fan.He loved spending time with his grandson, Konnor. Surviving are his wife, Felicia Graham Barfield; son, Kevin L. (Rebecca) Barfield of Florence; grandchildren, Konnor L. Barfield and Kaylee Reigel, both of Florence; brothers, Larry Barfield (Lorraine Tedford), of Florence; sisters, Brenda “BooBoo” Coker of Florence and Maria O’Neal (Johnny Davis) of Darlington, SC; many nieces and nephews; special uncle, Pete and aunt, Gwen Whalen of Florence, as well as many more aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to Elim Baptist Church General Fund, 1303 Olanta Highway, Effingham, SC29541. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
